The Discover section currently offers two in-app subscriptions:
1. Savings Assistant – Designed to help you save energy and money while increasing home comfort:
- Reduce your energy consumption with smart algorithms and simulations.
- Automations to enhance convenience.
- Detailed insights into your energy usage and savings.
2. Dynamic Assistant – Optimizes energy consumption based on dynamic electricity prices. Only available for users with Viessmann Energy Management.
- Automatically shifts usage of heat pumps or EV chargers to cheaper electricity times (e.g. during wind/solar surplus).
- Helps lower grid electricity costs.
- Maximizes the potential of your energy system.
Why don’t I see the Dynamic Assistant?
If you only see Savings Assistant in the Discover section, it’s because your system does not support this subscription. The Dynamic Assistant subscription requires:
- Active Viessmann Energy Management
- Newest software version on the hardware device(s)
- German location

While the free version of ViCare provides all the essential functions for controlling and monitoring your indoor climate, the Savings Assistant subscription helps you:

Please note: Feature availability depends on your system setup and country. The Savings Assistant is currently available in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Luxembourg and Turkey, with more countries to follow.

- Smart automation: The Savings Assistant uses data from device sensors to automatically optimize energy-saving settings, saving energy and costs.
- Enhanced transparency: The Savings Assistant provides you with advanced statistics and full insights on past and present energy use behavior.
- Full control: The Savings Assistant offers many advanced management options. For example, you can simulate the impact on your savings when you change the hot water settings.
And how much does it cost?
You can choose between a monthly or yearly subscription plan that can be canceled at any time (in Germany: €3.99 per month or €34.99 per year). The monthly subscription remains active until the end of the current month, while the yearly subscription plan runs until the end of the 12-month period. Both plans offer the same features, but have different billing cycles.

Dynamic Assistant – Dynamic Assistant - smarten up your system and save electricity costs.
The Dynamic Assistant subscription is the ideal upgrade for ViCare users with Viessmann Energy Management who want to benefit from dynamic or time-based electricity tariffs. By automatically shifting electricity demand to times when electricity prices are lower, the Dynamic Assistant helps you save on grid electricity costs - without compromising (climate) comfort.
Concept and features
With the Dynamic Assistant, your system automatically optimizes electricity usage based on price fluctuations, eliminating the need for manual time program adjustments.
Here’s how it works:
- Heat pump optimization: Running time is no longer based solely on set demand, e.g. temperature set temperature, but also on electricity prices. And all this with constant climate comfort by keeping temperature fluctuations to a minimum.
- Battery storage optimization: In addition to using solar power (PV), the battery storage system can also draw low-cost electricity from the grid when prices are low. This provides optimization potential, especially during months with limited sunlight.
- Coming soon: Scheduled charging for charging stations! The app will enable scheduled electric vehicle charging, ensuring your car charges when electricity prices are low.

Pricing
You can choose between a monthly or yearly subscription plan, with corresponding payment options: €7.99 per month or €79.99 per year (in Germany).
Both plans can be canceled at any time: The monthly subscription remains active until the end of the monthly period, while the yearly subscription plan runs for 12 months and only ends after this period. Apart from the duration, both subscription models do not differ and offer the same features.
