Subscription & subscription management

To subscribe to any of the plans offered in ViCare, follow these steps:

For iOS users (iPhone, iPad):

  1. Open the ViCare app and log in to your account.
  2. Tap on “Discover” in the bottom navigation.
  3. Select the subscription you want and tap “Select your plan”.
  4. Choose between the monthly or yearly subscription plan.
  5. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm your right of withdrawal by tapping “Buy subscription now”.
  6. A summary of your purchase will appear. Tap “Subscribe” to finalize your subscription purchase.
  7. A confirmation window will open. Tap “OK” to complete the process.

For Android users (e.g. Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola):

  1. Open the ViCare app and log in to your account.
  2. Tap on “Discover” in the bottom navigation.
  3. Select the subscription you want and tap “Select your plan”.
  4. Choose between the monthly or yearly subscription plan.
  5. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm your right of withdrawal by tapping “Buy subscription now”.
  6. A summary of your purchase will appear. Tap “Subscribe” to finalize your subscription purchase.

Yes, the Savings Assistant includes a 30-day free trial, while the Dynamic Assistant comes with a 6-month free trial. You can start your trial by subscribing through the “Discover” section in the ViCare app.

The trial works just like a regular subscription, but you won’t be charged during the testing time. You can cancel anytime during the trial directly in the ViCare app, or by managing your subscriptions in your Smartphone (iOS - iPhone or iPad), or through the App Store (iOS - iPhone or iPad), Google Play Store (Android - Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola usw.) - at no cost.

ViCare offers full transparency: If you have enabled push notifications, you will receive a reminder two days before the trial ends. The same reminder will also appear under “Notifications” in the app. Additionally, in the Discover section of the ViCare app, you’ll find a countdown at the top of your active subscription screen showing how many days remain in your free trial. The renewal date is shown just below – this marks the start of your paid subscription after the trial ends.

Please note: The free trial is only available once per customer.

To redeem a voucher, follow these steps:

For iOS users (iPhone, iPad):

  1. Open the ViCare app and log in with your account.
  2. Click on “Discover” at the bottom of the app.
  3. Click on “Start your free trial” at the bottom of the app. You are not buying anything and are not starting a regular subscription.
  4. A new window will open. Choose between the yearly and monthly subscription plan.
  5. Accept the conditions for completing the contract.You are not buying anything and are not starting a regular subscription.
  6. Click on “Redeem code”.
  7. A new window will open. Enter your voucher code in the input mask and click on “Redeem offer”.
  8. A new window will open summarizing the information. Now click on “Redeem offer”.
  9. You will receive a notification that the voucher has been successfully redeemed and you can open the ViCare app again.
  10. If you now click on the “Discover” section in ViCare, you will see the remaining term of your voucher.

Did redeeming the voucher not work? Then please try again via the iOS App Store. You can find the instructions here.

For Android users (e.g. Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola): You have two options if you installed ViCare App on an Android (not Apple) device:

Custom-Codes: Often consisting of a word and a number, e.g. “SAVINGS2024”, “SUMMER23”, “FREETRIAL90”

  1. Open the ViCare app and log in with your account.
  2. Click on the "Discover” tab at the bottom of the app.
  3. Click on monthly or yearly (depending on the voucher).
  4. Click on “Buy subscription now”’. You are not purchasing anything at this moment and are not starting a regular subscription.
  5. A new window will open. Click on the payment method at the bottom of the screen (e.g. you will see your credit card stored in the Play Store).
  6. A new window will open. Now click on ‘Redeem voucher’.
  7. A new window will open. Enter your voucher code in the input mask. If you have a gift card, you can also scan the code.
  8. A new window will open summarising the information. You will now see that the voucher is valid and has been accepted. Click on ‘Subscribe’ at the bottom of the interface.
  9. The “Savings Assistant” or “Dynamic Assistant” area is visible again. You will see a green bar at the top of the interface indicating that your voucher is active. You can also see how long your voucher is still valid. During this time, you can cancel your subscription at any time free of charge.

One-Time-Codes: Consisting of a combination of 24 numbers and letters, e.g. ‘X6ZD7HJ5ABD8TR1TQWE478AE’:

  1. Open the ViCare app and log in with your account.
  2. Click on the “Discover” tab at the bottom of the app.
  3. Click on “Choose your subscription” at the bottom of the screen. You are not purchasing anything at this moment and are not starting a regular subscription.
  4. A new window will open. Click on “Redeem code”.
  5. A new window will open. Enter your voucher code in the input mask. If you have a gift card, you can also scan the code.
  6. Click on “Redeem” and then on “Continue”.
  7. A new window will open summarising the information. Now click on “Subscribe”.
  8. The “Savings Assistant” or “Dynamic Assistant” area is displayed again. Click on “Activate your subscription” and then confirm the voucher activation. The following overview confirms the successful activation and summarises the relevant information once again.
  9. In the “Savings Assistant” or “Dynamic Assistant” area, you will see a green bar at the top of the interface indicating that your voucher is active. You can also see how long your voucher is still valid. During this time, you can cancel your subscription at any time free of charge.

For iOS users (iPhone, iPad):
Some vouchers can be redeemed even if you have an active subscription, while others are intended for new users only. Check for more details where you received the voucher.

For Android users (e.g. Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola):
Vouchers cannot be redeemed if you already have an active subscription or had an active subscription in the past.

Go to the “Discover” section in the ViCare app. On the screen with your active subscription details, a counter at the top will show how many days of the free trial are left. You will also see the renewal date just below.

    For iOS users (iPhone, iPad): Depending on the voucher, it will either replace the free trial or be added on top. Normally, it will replace the free trial.
    Example: If your trial is 1 month, and you activate a 3-month voucher, your total free period may be 3 or 4 months, depending on the terms provided with the voucher code.

    For Android users (e.g. Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola): The voucher replaces the free trial.
    Example: If your trial is 1 month, but you activate a 3-month voucher, you will have a total of 3 free months (not 4).

    No, vouchers are only valid for specific subscription (Savings Assistant or Dynamic Assistant) and its plan (monthly or yearly).

    Check the voucher details in the email, push notification, or message where you received the code. In most cases, the system automatically detects which subscription the voucher applies to.

    You can cancel your Savings Assistant or Dynamic Assistant subscription at any time through the ViCare app. Simply go to the subscription details screen, click the three dots (⋮), select "Manage", and you will be redirected to Google Play or the Apple App Store, where you can complete the cancellation process.

    For iOS users (e.g. iPhone, iPad):

    1. Open the ViCare app and log in to your account.
    2. Tap on “Discover” and select the subscription you want to cancel.
    3. In the upper-right corner, tap the three dots (⋮) and then select "Manage".
    4. In the new window, click "Cancel subscription".
    5. The subscription details screen will open, showing the remaining term of your subscription.
    6. If you wish to reactivate your subscription later, you can do so anytime by clicking "Manage" again.

    For Android users (e.g. Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola):

    1. Open the ViCare app and log in to your account.
    2. Tap on “Discover” and select the subscription you want to cancel.
    3. In the upper-right corner, tap the three dots (⋮) and then select "Manage".
    4. A new window will open—choose whether you want to pause or cancel your subscription. To proceed with cancellation, tap "Cancel subscription".
    5. In the next window, you can provide a reason for cancellation or skip this step by selecting “Continue”.
    6. A final confirmation window will appear—click "Cancel subscription" to finalize the process.
    7. The subscription details screen will open, where you can check the remaining term of your subscription.
    8. If you wish to reactivate your subscription later, you can do so anytime by clicking "Manage" again.

    When will your subscription stop working?

    • Monthly subscriptions will remain active until the end of the current billing month.
    • Yearly subscriptions will remain active until the end of the 12-months period.
