How do I activate Hot Water Optimizer?
Hot Water Optimizer
Hot Water Optimizer is exclusive to Savings Assistant subscribers with a compatible Viessmann system.
To turn it on:
- Open the ViCare app and go to your Home screen.
- Tap the hot water tile.
- Enter Hot Water settings and select Hysteresis.
- Find the Hot Water Optimizer toggle (marked BETA).
- Switch the toggle to ON.
The app will confirm Hot Water Optimizer is now adapting. Expect the first automatic adjustment the following morning. A note in your Event History will let you know Hot Water Optimizer is at work.
Requirements
An active Savings Assistant subscription (from €3.99/month or €34.99/year, free trial available)
A compatible Viessmann heating system [TBD: device list to be confirmed by Samuel, Architect / IoT-C team]
Your system connected to the internet via your Viessmann gateway
You must be the account owner (family or friend accounts have view-only access)
Not subscribed yet? You can start your free trial or subscribe directly within the app. Hot Water Optimizer is included in your Savings Assistant subscription.
