Which Viessmann systems are compatible with Hot Water Optimizer?
Hot Water Optimizer
The Hot Water Optimizer works with most Viessmann heat pumps and with selected newer gas boilers. It is currently in BETA, so the range of compatible devices may expand over time.
How to check the compatible devices:
Open the ViCare app and go to the "Discover Tab" → Tap on "Savings Assistant" → Find the “Hot Water Optimizer” in the feature list. If your system is compatible, the Hot Water Optimizer will appear under the section “Supported features.” If your device is not supported yet, the Hot Water Optimizer will appear under the list of “Not supported features”.
The feature only works on systems where automatic adjustment of the reheating threshold is technically possible and safe. On other systems the setting adjustments remains available manually.
What else is required for the Hot Water Optimizer to work?
An active Savings Assistant subscription (from €3.99/month or €34.99/year, free trial available)
Your Viessmann gateway connected to the internet
Account owner access in the ViCare app
