Does the Viessmann Energy Management system work without using the ViCare app?

Optimizing self-consumption works even without the ViCare app if the Viessmann Energy Management system was activated by a specialist partner via the ViGuide app and a Viessmann energy meter is part of the system. However, we recommend using the ViCare app, so that all devices in the system can be displayed as one overall system. This allows you, among other things, to track your energy flows in real time, analyzing your historical data or configure custom settings for optimization. Additionally, activating the Dynamic Assistant subscription, which is required for tariff-based optimization, is only possible via the ViCare app.
