What is meant by "Your electricity price"?
Dynamic Assistant in detail
The "Your electricity price" value displayed under “Analysis” and in “Dynamic Assistant Insights” represents a consumption-weighted average of your electricity costs over the past 30 days. It helps you understand the average price you’ve paid for the electricity consumed from the grid, reflecting how well the optimization is working for you.
How is it calculated?
- Every hour, your electricity price is multiplied by the amount of electricity you consumed from the grid during that hour.
- These hourly values are then added up over the last 30 days.
- The total is divided by your overall grid consumption in the same period.
This means that your electricity price updates daily, always based on the most recent 30 days.
Important note:
The stated value is an estimate without guarantee. On the first day of each month, this value is based on the previous 30 days. If the previous month had 30 days, this corresponds to the monthly average. Nevertheless, there may be deviations from your actual energy bill, as both the electricity price and the amount of electricity purchased may vary.
