What do I have to do to receive software updates for my Viessmann energy system?

The software updates for your heating system are installed automatically and “over the air” via ViCare, i.e. via the devices' internet connection.

The following criteria must be met for this:

  • Your Viessmann energy system must be permanently connected to the Internet via the ViCare app.
  • The Wi-Fi signal strength must be sufficiently high.
  • You must allow remote software updates: To do this, navigate to “General” under “Settings” in the ViCare app and activate the corresponding switch under “Software updates”. The updates will then run automatically, you do not need to initiate them manually.

This ensures that your system is always state of the art.
