My heating is not operating on the schedule I set in ViCare
ViCare Smart Climate Features
A common cause of this is that the time on your heater is not set correctly, e.g. because there has been a power failure. Therefore, please check on the appliance whether the time needs to be corrected.
Other possible sources of error:
Incorrectly configured time program
Make sure that you have set the time program correctly and that the desired times and temperatures have been entered correctly. Also check that the program is activated and has not been accidentally set to a different mode (e.g. “Continuous mode” or “Manual”).
Manual mode
The heating may have been switched to manual mode. This overwrites the time program and ensures that the heating runs at a constant temperature. Therefore, check in the ViCare app whether manual operation or a specific mode is activated.
Faulty Wi-Fi/app connection
If the connection between the ViCare app and the heater is interrupted, no changes or programs will be transferred. Make sure that your heating system has a stable internet connection. Check the connection if necessary or restart the app.
Invalid or contradictory settings
Certain temperature settings may conflict with other heating modes (e.g. night setback or frost protection).
External control
If the heating is connected to an external thermostat or other control, this could overwrite the settings in the ViCare app.
