Can I use The ViCare Smart Climate solution if I don’t have a heating device at home?
ViCare Smart Climate Features
We offer a standalone version of ViCare Smart Climate supported by ViCare application to make it possible to shape the climate in your home even if you do not use any of the heating devices.
Stand Alone version of ViCare Smart Climate requires only a Vitoconnect module and other smart devices to communicate with each other:
- Vitoconnect OPTO – the interface between your smart components and the Viessmann cloud infrastructure
- WiFi access point to provide communication between gateway and ViCare app
- At least one of ViCare Radiator Valves to let you fully control the climate in your home - each valve for each radiator is the optimal solution
- ViCare Climate Sensor - additional temperature and humidity sensor to give you even more information
- Depending on the structural conditions, one or more ViCare Repeaters may be required to ensure a stable wireless connection between all components and the Vitoconnect gateway
