What does the F.574 error mean?

Error Codes

The F.574 error on ViCare thermostats and boilers means that the thermostat and the boiler are not communicating properly. In other words, the boiler does not get a clear signal from the thermostat, which can affect how your heating works.

This problem can have different reasons. Sometimes the thermostat was not set up correctly during installation. In other cases, the wireless signal is too weak because the thermostat is too far from the boiler or there are thick walls in between. Low or faulty batteries can also cause the error. Less often, it can be a temporary network issue that disappears on its own.

To solve the problem, the thermostat often needs to be set up again. Installers can do this with the ViGuide app, while homeowners should contact their heating engineer or Viessmann service partner for help. It may also help to move the thermostat closer to the boiler, use a ViCare Range Extender, change the batteries, or simply restart both the boiler and the thermostat.

If the error keeps coming back, please get in touch with your heating engineer or Viessmann customer service and explain when the error happens and what steps have already been tried.
