What does the preheating function do?
The function ensures that your rooms reach the desired temperature exactly when needed.
How does it work?:
The preheating algorithm calculates the optimal preheating time required to reach the set temperature exactly when your schedule requires it. With the help of ViCare Smart Climate components, the system automatically starts heating earlier if necessary and ensures comfort at the right time without the need for manual adjustments. The optimal preheating time depends on various factors, such as the size of the radiators or the set flow temperature. It is calculated individually based on temperature feedback. It may take a few days until the optimal preheating time has been determined.
How do I activate it?:
Click on the tile of the room where you want to activate preheating.
Click on the three small dots in the upper right corner to open the room settings.
Switch the “Preheating” toggle to “on.”
Requirements:
For preheating to work in a room, it must be fully equipped with ViCare Smart Climate components.
For radiators: ViCare radiator thermostats
For underfloor heating: ViCare underfloor thermostat and ViCare climate sensor
