I cannot establish connection with Viessmann servers

ViCare Control

For the connection to work, your internet router must allow access to some technical ports. Please make sure these are not blocked by your router or internet provider:

  • 443/TCP – needed for secure internet communication (HTTPS)
  • 8883/TCP – needed for secure device communication (MQTT)
  • 53/UDP – needed to find servers on the internet (DNS)
  • 123/UDP – needed to keep the device time correct (NTP)
